Kitchen Fitting Process

One of the greatest benefits we can offer with our kitchen fitting service is our expert project management. From our full measuring service to arranging structural surveys and any necessary calculations you can rest assured knowing you are in safe hands.

As an independent company we completely cut out the middle men, so you will know exactly what is happening with your project. We will arrange each aspect of the project as well as manufacturing and fitting the kitchen ourselves. This allows us to understand each project intimately and gives you a single point of contact throughout.

The installation process follows the same procedure which is divided into clear stages:

Stage 1

Removal and disposal of existing kitchen - When removing your old kitchen we will to leave you with a functioning kitchen unit until the new kitchen is installed. This is the best way to minimise the disruption in your home.

Stage2

Making good - With the old kitchen removed, now is the time to make changes to the fabric of the house. Any additions or alterations to the plumbing and electrical services take place at this time. Once these have been first fixed then the plastering work will be undertaken followed by initial decoration works.

Stage 3

Kitchen fitting - Following all the preparation we will begin fitting the kitchen carcasses and appliances.

Stage 4

Worktops - After the carcasses are installed we will fit the worktops. If you have a solid surface worktop the templating is done at this stage and a temporary worktop installed to make your kitchen operational.

Stage 5

Trimming up - This is the final stage of the fit when we install the doors and handles, followed by the plinth, pelmet and cornice. The appliances will be commissioned and the services will be second fixed. If your kitchen is to be hand painted it is done at this stage.

Stage 6

Final finishes - The remaining decoration and tiling will be done before the final checks and adjustments are made. Then the completed kitchen is handed over ready for you to enjoy.
